Again, since he doesn’t really text me, I don’t talk to him all that much unless were planning a date or something. I am an avid texter so this is hard for me!! I know he has an old phone…and that he doesn’t keep it attached to his hand like I do, so I have really just let that not bother me as much as it may have in the past.
The next week, I messaged him on thursday. Later that day he invited me to go out the next night with him. He brought me to a party of his friends and we had an awesome time. He introduced me to everyone, kissed me in front of his friends, and I really enjoyed being there with him. I stayed over that night, we didn’t have sex. We cuddled a whole lot in the morning and hooked up a little bit again. I left and everything seemed great, he seemed to be treating it as more than a hookup.
That night I texted him because I was maybe going to be out in his neighborhood, but I dont know if he texted me back cause my phone was not working for a while and I know i never received a handful of texts from the same time that he wouldve been responding.
Sunday and Monday I never talked to him, and Tuesday night i texted him and he gave me one response and that was it!
Am I overreacting or does it seem like he is just not that into me? When we spend time together it really is great, i just feel so unsure because he doesnt stay in touch with me!

I’m not sure of the timeline here, but it sounds like you wrote this after going only a few days without being in touch. Some people are just not into texting. You say he likes to chat on gmail, which is fine. Everyone has their different preferences. However, I think the key is that you feel that he isn’t in touch very often. I always tell women that if they have to constantly wonder why the guy isn’t in touch, it’s a problem. Either because he’s not that into it, or more importantly, because they want or need a level of communication that the guy is not giving.
If he doesn’t like to text, fine. He can call. It’s his responsibility and he should want to find a way to be in touch one way or another. Don’t get ahead of him. If he’s taking it super slow, do the same. Don’t initiate texts out of the blue if he generally is unresponsive. And of course, you could always ask him. :-)
