Great post, Marrie! Re: #1 - we always think about how the little things with our partner can eventually get annoying, but what about turning it on yourself? Sure, my partner may have some annoying habits, etc., but you know what, so do I, and he/she puts up with it too!!

I completely agree, Neely! This article goes BOTH ways! It wasn't attended to be husband bashing, it was intended to be a wake-up call for women and men! That's the beauty and curse of marriage, it's equal opportunity insanity!

I love #5... It is so true. I have never been married, but I do know that this tip is helpful to keep in mind in All your relationships!

A great post for people about to take the plunge. I'm sure this is helpful for those that think marriage will be a fairytale or will fix the problems already existing in the relationship. Seeing as I have no aspirations for marriage OR children I'm not sure I'll be needing said advice...but never say never, right? :)

Hi Jewels! Thinking this advice works for anyone in a relationship that makes it past the honeymoon period! And never say never! I swore off marriage and yet, here I am in round 2 ;)
