German shepard short hair is the type of German Shepherd’s breed which is accepted in the Kennel Clubs of the United States of America and in some other parts of the world. This type has further two classifications of lengths as follows:
 
 The Very Short-Haired German Shepherd- These have a very short layer of fur over them. These furs are bristly on touching and look sleek and smooth on the dog. But this is not the most preferred version of the short coat dogs.
 
 The Plush Coat German Shepherd- These coats are searched by people who are looking for show dogs because these are known to be the most stereotypical type of German shepherd coat.
